When things brake, they get thrown away most of the times, even though they could be repaired quite easily. Most people don’t know how to repair things that brake. Thus, it seems easier to buy a new product, especially if it’s cheap. Unfortunately the obsolescence of a product is often even planned and conceptually provided by the manufacturer.
The application Repair wants to counteract this development towards wasteful consumption. It allows users to repair broken belongings, but also create a tutorial for a product/issue. It connects people with the technical knowledge and people with the need of repair.
