Aura is a fleet management platform that monitors drink dispensers, tracking operational status and flagging issues or flavors that need restocking. Beyond day-to-day monitoring, it provides business insights to support more informed commercial decisions.

The Challenge

As Aquablu’s fleet of water systems scaled rapidly, the existing Dashboard was outgrown, and the experience became increasingly hard to navigate. Originally built for smaller internal operations, it lacked the structure, data insights, and system overview required to support growth, resulting in fragmented insights and operational inefficiencies. Users had no clear overview of their systems, limited context on system health, and no intuitive way to understand what needed attention.

This challenge extended beyond Aquablu’s internal operations. Partners servicing and selling Aquablu systems also needed clear visibility into system health and performance, but the dashboard was too difficult to use, so they often avoided it. These limitations prevented partners from delivering the level of service that Aquablu expected.

The dashboard needed to move beyond a tool that merely displayed data and instead provide actionable insights.

The Solution

AURA was designed as a fresh start: A structured, intuitive platform that gives internal teams, partners, and clients confidence. It turns complex system data into clear overviews with meaningful insights.

As a centralised fleet management platform, AURA connects systems, data, and people. It provides real-time visibility into system status, tracks component and service history, and translates raw data into useful and actionable information. It seamlessly integrates operational monitoring with commercial touch points like usage-driven recommendations.

From nested information architecture to user goal–driven flow

AURA introduced new pages designed to help users quickly find the information they need. The Service page unifies servicing needs and system health monitoring, ensuring systems stay in optimal condition. The Usage page tracks performance metrics, enabling Aquablu to improve user satisfaction by recommending flavours users love while driving business growth through increased consumption.

Impact

AURA shifts fleet management from reactive troubleshooting to a proactive, value-creating product that brings clarity to operations and supports Aquablu’s growth across internal teams, partners, and clients.
